7 Full-time 5 days ago Full Job Description $5,000 Sign On Bonus PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nurses to plan, organize, develop, and direct the operation of the facility in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines and Birchaven Village policies and procedures.
The nursing supervisor will act as a liaison between associates and participate in employee, resident, and family teaching.
This person will provide leadership by maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in a clinical setting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be currently licensed in the State of Ohio to practice nursing as a RN.
Must have a minimum of one to three years of clinical experience, long-term care is preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Must have leadership ability and be able to express and demonstrate teachings and ideas to all socio-economical associates and residents.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent activities in walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting and standing.
You may be required to lift 50 pounds or more.
This position requires individuals to lift above the shoulders.
The associate must have corrected vision and hearing in the normal range.
Individual must have excellent communication skills to perform daily tasks.
This position is classified at risk for possible occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens (HBV, HIV, etc.
