Examples of acceptable qualifications for this position are:
You will be a past consumer of mental health or substance abuse services with a history of managing one's own illness.
You will have awareness of the importance of recovery in living with a mental illness or addictions problem.
You will have past experience working directly with people in a service oriented field, and have an active membership in a consumer advocacy or self-help group.
A significant period of continuous recovery required.
Comfort using your personal vehicle to transport clients.

In this role, you will provide peer support to people in your community who are facing challenges you understand.

You have the ability to obtain an Ohio Driver's License, maintain auto insurance, earn CPR/First Aid certification, and be willing to submit to background check and fingerprinting.
In this role you will regularly use various computer apps including Microsoft Office, our HRIS, EHR and other online systems, with multiple logins often simultaneously.
