Monday - Friday 2:
50pm - 11:
10pm.
It is a permanent 2nd shift position.
There is not a possibility of moving to a different shift.
We are seeking highly motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as Forklift Operators.
This position is responsible for moving full pallets of product from production lines, material to lines, and product and supplies as needed by operating a forklift and assisting in operations as needed.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to maneuver full pallets of product from production lines, and place them in appropriate locations in the warehouse.
Aide in operations in shipping of product which may involve scanning and staging finished product for loading.
Keep production lines fully supplied to ensure production continues on pace.
Drive facility organization and cleanliness by assuring things are stored in the correct places and following FIFO standards.
Completes end of shift duties including but not limited to emptying trash hoppers and removing scrap from the production areas.
Ensure proper tagging, pack out, and quality of all pallets before removing from lines.
Maintain and fill out a daily forklift checklist before every shift.
Assist with any other operations as directed for production needs, including duties off the lift.
Qualifications:
Must have forklift certification and be willing to obtain specific certification requirements as needed per company policies.
Must know and comply with all safety standards and processes.
Must follow all forklift safety policies and procedures at all times.
Maintains a work pace appropriate to the workload to meet production goals.
Able to walk, stand, and maneuver on uneven surfaces as needed Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to work cooperatively in a team Must be able to understand and follow instructions with minimum supervision.
