Purchasing Agent/Purchasing Manager

Job Descriptions
o Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
o Forwards available inventory items by verifying stock; scheduling delivery.
o Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
o Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
o Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.

Requirements
o Over Associate Degree in Business or related.
o Over 5 years experience in Purchasing/Procurement with MRP systems. Automotive OEM manufacturing experience would be preferred.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Good computer skills (MS Office)
o Fluent English language skills, both verbally and in writing to promote communication.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
