Horticulturist
Do you enjoy working with flowers and perennials, working outside and consider yourself a green thumb, we would like to hear from you. Findlay Country Club is looking for the right individual to maintain our landscape beds around the property.
Job duties can entail:
Planting annuals, perennials and bulbs
Pulling weeds
Spraying weeds
Watering
Edging / Mulching
Focusing on Details
Providing support on new landscape projects
Provide creative concepts in the landscape
Be part of the Grounds team, help in any way needed
Have fun
Qualifications necessary:
Great attitude, hard working, take initiative
Don't mind working in the elements
Must be able to work early morning, we start at 6:00am
Not just a job, love what you do - working outside with great people, getting your hands dirty
Dependable, on-time every time
We are a country club, must have attention to detail
Knowledge of annuals, perennials, pruning, planting, watering, fertilizing etc. a plus
This can be your profession or just your hobby, looking for someone that enjoys this type of work
This position can be flexible with the amount of hours offered. For the right person, we can make this a 40-45 hour a week, April - October position. We can also make this a 20-25 hour a week position depending on the applicants needs. We do have some flexibility, the only requirement is that the work gets done in the mornings.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
