Six Sigma Black Belt

The Black Belt will be accountable for planning, facilitating, and executing key projects that are focused on achieving financial results and customer satisfaction objectives. They will work closely with the Master Black Belt (MBB) to identify and drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to successful completion, facilitating change and providing ongoing, proactive leadership.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manage Lean Six Sigma process improvement activities, leading and driving project teams to ensure success of the project. Effectively coordinate these projects with the MBB and other improvement project teams
Lead cross-functional teams to drive breakthrough performance improvement
Advocate and demonstrate the merit of applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to help achieve business objectives and improving financial performance
Promote the use of metrics and data to drive project focus. Provide MBB with the results and recommend appropriate corrective action
Train and mentor Green Belts through certification.

Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
3-5 years of manufacturing experience
1-3 years of professional level experience in leading and executing continuous improvement projects
Excellent knowledge of Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology Analytical skills
Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite & Minitab
Excellent communication skills
Must be willing to become a Six Sigma Black Belt

Preferred
Qualifications:
Black Belt or Green Belt Certification desired
Prior supervisory experience is a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
