Millwright - Industrial Mechanic - Maintenance Technician

A Cooper Tire Millwright is responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide variety of machinery and mechanical equipment in our manufacturing environment. In this role, the individual will spend the majority of their time troubleshooting and repairing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and must have the ability to interpret drawings related to the installation and operation of machinery and equipment. They will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance. In depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical power transmission, welding, rigging and pipe fitting along with a high mechanical aptitude is desired. The millwright will also be responsible for observing all safety regulations and all required PPE. This position requires an individual who is self-directed and capable of running projects with little or no instruction. This position works a 12 hour shift with a 2-2-3 schedule. The hourly rate for this position is $24.75 an hour with overtime.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED as well as a Millwright Journeyman's card or 3 years equivalent manufacturing experience or 3 years of equivalent military technician experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
