The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years experience in Financial Accounting. Multiple positions requiring a combination of the listed responsibilities are available.
Responsibilities
Manages the monthly consolidated closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for both internal and external reporting.
Responsible for the timely maintenance and development of reports within the consolidation system as well as the underlying master data.
Prepares schedules, statements and reports to analyze and review the results of the consolidated financial activity.
Assists in the testing and evaluation of periodic upgrades to the consolidation system.
Evaluates and documents the Company's application of appropriate US GAAP accounting principles to complex transactions.
Key participant in the evaluation, documentation, communication and implementation of new accounting pronouncements impacting the company.
Counsels and advises internal customers on consistent and appropriate application of financial accounting policies and procedures.
Ensures the proper accounting for areas that are highly technical and judgmental and where specialized guidance is applicable, including acquisitions, divestitures, investments and reorganizations.
Participates in devising and recommending new policies, methods and procedures designed to improve information and efficiency.
Interact with external and internal auditors and provide audit support
